nero14 Posted June 18, 2012 Share Posted June 18, 2012 stupid questions because I haven't really been on DCP since finals 2011: 1) where is Michael Gaines working if not at the Cavaliers?? 2) how is SCV's show not the most hyped thing on the planet? JD Shaw? Mars? Jupiter? seems amazingly awesome in every way... 3) can someone give me some sub-text to Crown's show? i saw it the other night- I'm not sure I understand the guard unis-- the logo everyone is sporting on their sigs is reminding me of superman/ and one of the guard persons looked like they were flying (held up by two others...)- i'm very curious... what's the storyline? the more practical the better Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

From what I have been told. It's the contrast of fantasy, super human, and the common man, strength and power as a unified whole. Hence the whole corps in cream in the fanfare Copland, and the super hero costume in the "dreams" fantasy part. Both are ways to achieve a greater good. Or in crowns case, a common good.
