Racine folded? Thats pretty sad.... or is it an inactive for the season? Thats an old corps

They didn't fold. Just ceased operations for this year.

Yes, that is SO sad. Their website says: An official message from the corps will be coming soon. Please check back. July 7, 2012.

And this was their 85th Anniversary Year: 1927-2012.

Technically, Racine is the oldest contiually active drum corps in America (1927 I believe). The Holy Name Cadets (Garfield/The Cadets) is the 2nd, but I believe would now be the oldest contnually active. Maybe they already were because I thought Racine had to take a year or two off prior to this season. Nonetheless, Racine continues to be the oldest corps that is still in existence today (although probably not continually).

I would love to see the Wisconsin corps all become healthy again (Madison, Blue Stars, Racine, Pioneer, etc.).
