TerriTroop
Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy with the new look, and I'm hoping it will look great on the field. But based on the picture of the bass line, it kind of seems like they haven't figured out the bagginess issue. Maybe they just need to be tailored yet, but that's my only concern with them at the moment. I'm fairly certain there is more tailoring about to ensue.
burgerbob
Not sure about them... From a distance, they'll look just like the uniforms used from '05-back. *shrug*

Considering the uniforms came in just a few days ago, the only concern for the parade was to make sure they weren't dragging on the ground and weren't falling off anybody!

Troopers really only have 10,922 FB likes? TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE FOR AMERICA'S DRUM CORPS! Let's do something about that ... Let's get them some FB likes!!!! https://www.facebook.com/TroopersDrumCorps?fref=ts Their goal is 11,011 before their first show. Fans like us should be able to get that done for them before the end of the weekend!
Daave
I'm very happy to see the gray pants. I have been clamoring for this since they went to the blue jump suits several years back. I am tickled that they've retained their overall identity. However, I think the overall look is a bit chintzy...a little bit too "costumey" looking for my taste. And...It's not too late, but I would really like to see the scarves make a return and let's not forget...they have never made finals without them. Please don't mistake my criticisms for being unenthusiastic about the 2013 Troopers. I'm just committed to speaking my mind. Scarves and finals? This would discount the 20+ other years that scarves were worn and Troopers didn't even sniff finals. I believe history of the Cavalry uniform would show that the yellow scarf, beloved by many Trooper fans and alumni, has it's roots in Hollywood. Hasn't Mr. Jones been quoted as saying something similar? I dunno, the designers are ###### if they do, ###### if they don't. From what I heard when the decisions were being made and the scarf was tried on this uniform design, it was not a good choice and quickly rejected. Anyway, good luck to the Troopers this year! I don't understand the whole need to change. Will this uniform improve there score? It seems odd to do a retro show musically and then have the Jetsons play it. Someday, maybe after the corps spends a bit more time in Casper, they will want to come home . The original identity of replica uniforms of the 11th Ohio calvary has completely been lost. I love the Troopers but, less and less every year every change.
Granny Smith
Here's a comparison. I think the one on the right looks way better and more rich and classy.

Granny....I agree with your sentiments, but I also think that ALL of the 'uniforms' are costumey anymore! They ceased being 'uniforms' a long time ago.
