LOL! Those lights are brighter than when X used them indoors. Well, concept proven! Who's going to use them first?!

That's a good question. I'm betting either Blue Devils, Bluecoats, or Carolina Crown lol

Kennesaw Mountain High School Band had similar lights on their uniforms at BOA last year ... with multiple colors

a search will also reveal at least one other HS band that had them on their shakos ...

they are LED lights, and each member has a battery pack (usually on a belt and concealed beneath their uniform, and there is someone either in the pit or along the sideline who either operates the changing lights via a computer ...

it seems I recall a piece somewhere discussing how much WCU's "lights" cost ...

Appropriate as David Starnes, Kennesaw Mountain's band director, became the replacement for Western Carolina's Bob Buckner.
