MotorCityMusician
I was on their website looking at the corps that use them (which hasnt been updated in a while) but it looks like with Glassmen taking the year off SCV is the only Dynasty percussion. IS there another corps that is using either their horns or percussion? Could this be the phase out of Dynasty? Ive noticed alot of groups making the switch to Mapex and Jupiter that used to use Dynasty horns and percussion.
kickhaltsforlife
Well... Dynasty horns are crap... so that is probably why no one wants to use them...
Kamarag
Well... Dynasty horns are crap... so that is probably why no one wants to use them... Not all of them are crap. The euphoniums ans 4/4 tubas are very good. The mello isn't bad either. The trumpets however...

With Glassmen taking the season off, yes, SCV is the only World Class corps using Dynasty. SCVC and I believe Raiders in Open Class are still on Dynasty percussion. In DCA, Reading Buccaneers, Minnesota Brass, Caballeros, Atlanta CV, and Carolina Gold use Dynasty percussion. Buccaneers just set a new record score in 2012 on Dynasty horns and percussion. I'm surprised I only missed one in all of DCI and DCA. :P Who knows who I might have missed in DCA Class A. Edited February 7, 2013 by Tyler C. The Euphs are not always good. Back in 2005, RCR bought brand new Dynasty horns. One of our Euph players blew out the leadpipe on the first day. Not very good quality control I'd say. flammaster
Mapex? ewwwww! Their tenors sound like doo doo. The snares are weak at best. I have to say the basses sound good. Their "pit" equipment is pathetic. Horns i don't know but they look cheap.
