First Colts hosted show of a busy week! Show info here:

http://www.colts.org/celebration13.asp

There is lots if good info on the "celebration in brass". Facebook page as well, including housing sites. Box office opens at 3:00, and last year we were about 20 people away from selling backfield seats, so come early for your tickets! I will be tweeting some stuff @pit_girl77 if anyone is interested in following and posting here for others to see.

Go red team!

Looks to be a great show mixing up some different corps that haven't met yet.

Line-up:

Colts - Dubuque, IA

Santa Clara Vanguard - Santa Clara, CA

Madison Scouts - Madison, WI

Spirit of Atlanta - Atlanta, GA

The Academy - Tempe, AZ

Cascades - Seattle, WA

Colt Cadets - Dubuque, IA

It will very interesting to see how SCV and Madison match up. Both are scoring relatively close at different shows. Madison has had four days off to make changes and clean.

the spreads between these corps will be as telling as the actual numbers.

Great weather for the show tonight!!!...around 80 at step off, low to mid 50's dewpoints (unlike the mid 70's soupy crap yesterday...see/feel the difference? lol) 10mph or less north winds with sunny skies. By shows end it should be around 70, give or take a degree or two.

very tempting to make the 3 hour drive but i'll just wait for tomorrow's show. :smile:/>

that looks about right...though I wouldn't be surprised if there is even less of a gap between the Scouts and SCV

My first live drum corps show In 20 years was Houston in 2005. Madison won that show handily over SCV and I was floored. I have a feeling it will be much closer tonight though.
