There are no words for how proud I am of Midnight Vanguard. They've really brought their A-game their second season, and I'm hoping it goes nowhere but up from here!

Amazing shows from the rest of you all as well! So many talented kids. *holds back happy tears*

No events today, so I'll just invite everybody to stay tuned for a special announcement about next season's championship location. It will be announced around 6 PM CST tonight- a first for us as we usually wait until after the season to make announcements like this.

This message is brought to you by the letters C, F and T

At this time, we're pleased to announce the location for next season's championships!

As some of you may have guessed by this morning's tease, Season 22's championships will take place at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis MN.

While this stadium may be a little smaller than some previous championship venues we've been to in the past, the configuration of the stadium, the urban environment and the overall atmosphere make this a truly spectacular venue that we couldn't miss out on!

Corps are back on the field today after a quick break.

Midnight Vanguard and Roselle Park Conquistadors square off at Buchanan HS in Clovis CA to try and re-establish a foothold on the top of the standings.

Polaris Regiment and Fleur de Lis are set to duke it out at Dublin HS in Dublin CA.

In Kennewick WA, Buckeye Brass and Circle City Sound headline a large group of Open Class and Class A corps at Richland HS, which will host the DCI Tri-Cities event later this summer.

Today's the last major event before finals week gets going, and we've got some exceptional venues today. For the first time (and possibly the last time), DCPI travels to Candlestick Park in San Francisco CA for a massive 19-corps showdown. Open Class and Class A corps will be competing at San Francisco City College's Ram Stadium due to the size of the world class show. Meanwhile, Seattle's refurbished Husky Stadium hosts another stellar lineup of corps.

Saturday's events brought about some incredibly close results! I truly believe it's anybody's game to win as we head into the home stretch of the season.

For Sunday, the paths of the tour schedule are beginning to converge. While a small group of corps travel to Evergreen HS in Vancouver WA, the majority of today's competitors will be competing in or around Sacramento CA. World class corps will be competing at Sacramento State University's stadium, while Open and Class A corps get to try out Folsom HS's new blue turf.

Scores from Sunday's events will be posted later this evening. Meanwhile, the state of Oregon gets ready for this season's big finish with a championship preview tonight. Two events scheduled at Hillsboro Stadium outside of Portland and Spiegelberg Stadium in Medford mark the end of the regular season and will give many corps one last chance to perform, be judged and entertain the crowds before the finals week activities get underway. Due to the size of the Hillsboro event, Beaverton OR's Southridge HS, which hosted a small event earlier this season, will be the site for Open class and Class A corps due to the size of the Hillsboro lineup.

Well, Open just went back to something that looks mighty similar to two season ago, with Texas Zephyrs and Star of Hawaii sitting atop the leaderboard.

Ridiculously close year again.

This has been fun.

Yes it has. I wouldn't count out a number of corps. We still have a long finals week ahead with many position changes I predict.
