Precious Roy
A "cheap pop" is a wrestling term for shamelessly pandering for applause, like when Mick Foley would end a promo line with, "...right here, in Allentown, PA!" Sorry, forgot my smilie face. And I once rode a roller coaster with Mick Foley. Nice guy. (Back to the show).
Kamarag
THE LICK!! It's what got me into drum corps!! So, is the sound quality appreciably better?? It's as good as I've ever heard it.

theyremovingit
They are showing the Essentials Volume 3 spot (I can still play The Lick from Suncoast '85). I watched some of it this afternoon and it is outstanding, well worth the purchase. Still one of my favorite shows ever. Partially because I've had some close family members involved. ; )
Catan
YEA! Fanfare for the.....aaand it's over. Such a great piece, shame they don't play more of it. Makes me want to watch Guardsmen 1979.
Kamarag
Such a great piece, shame they don't play more of it. Makes me want to watch Guardsmen 1979. Blue Devils 87. Or the best ever, the 2006 Bushwackers. Good lord they shredded Fanfare. Amazing.

Kamarag
Still think this trombone feature is the best thing in Scouts' show. Could have done without the frilly pit runs underneath it though.
