smj02 Posted July 21, 2016 Share Posted July 21, 2016 I saw a preseason video of Surf's ensemble and kind of counted them out of Semis, but they have come a long way since that vid, and I think they may have a decent shot. I may switch to another laptop after Surf. Interesting. I thought it was a time sync to the feed. But then it'd be in Central time. Good luck! JoeDz Posted July 21, 2016 Share Posted July 21, 2016 I believe that corps are missing an opportunity by having their battery kneel silently backfield during the ballad. Last year, Academy grounded the drums and the battery became part of the flag line.....great field coverage and visual silk motion. But, how about showing the skills of the battery by fitting them into the ballad? Perhaps brushes and other hand held percussion "toys"..... they would be there.... but not there.
