kevingamin
HUGE chant from MC as they prep to come on the field. Very military or, if you will, TRIBAL.
kevingamin
A change for the corps look. Plumes and gloves on the musicians are now a dark burgundy. Great look on the all black of the rest of the uniform.
kevingamin
The corps kneels on the field, heads bowed, to start the pre-show. Ominous drum beats from the basses and tenors with baritone soloists popping up at different points of the field. Full drum line picks up on the tribal cadence as the corps is announced. Now the horns come in with their fanfare, mirroring what the baritone soloists played.
kevingamin
Digeridoo sound effect from the pit as we move into the first movement of the show. Low brass on the right side of the field to start. Upper brass takes over on the left side of the field.
kevingamin
Wicked bass drum feature. Now wicked mello horn rips, right in front of me.
kevingamin
Each horn section is in their own block, spread out on the field. They now blend together and form a block triangle with the guard in the center.
kevingamin
Unison mello note from Hell!!! Great sound!

kevingamin
One guard member is in a sparkly silver skirt and is featured as the ballad begins. Tubas sound very rich tonight. One corps member lost their plume. Horns form a moon on the left side of the field with the guard as the focal point of the form.
kevingamin
Fire sounds emanate from the pit while the guard uses long orange and black streamers. Did we just sacrifice somebody?
