Mega
I don't think Mandarins are in the same discussion anymore with Madison. San Antonio is going to be a high stakes show.

Heck i would avoid it now lol.

For some of us (esp. those of us who marched in a Corps that didn't win much) the battle for 10th to ~17th place is fun to watch. And we are lucky this year to have quite a few Corps in the mix. We'll see once the feet start getting involved. Madison is supposedly fairly on track in the execution captions, and good execution is the foundation for good GE. And as I have said in other places - don't forget "West-Coast Score Inflation"

Sorry, but please stop being delusional. There is no West Coast inflation.
brassboy
If you REALLY believe in West Coast inflation, here's a fun observation: Pasadena and Lisle scores from July 1 last year: BD 74.500 SCV 73.850 BK 69.700 Phantom 68.300 Mandarins 66.200 Academy 64.300 PC 62.600 Bluecoats 75.400 Cavaliers 73.600 Boston 70.700 Blue Stars 68.700 Madison 66.300 Troopers 63.400 Pioneer 49.600 Compare these comparative placements to eventual final placements at DCI and it's not very far off the mark.
