flammaster
I'm totally blown away by 94 Crossmen that is for shure! What ever happened to Bob Bollman? I was much more impressed with BD 2001 than I was with 2003. I think the Most under-rated line EVER is the 87 Blue Devils line for shure! That line was SICK! CrownMcNeal
How about Glassmen '01? I'm definitely not saying they were the best but they were the hype. I never hear much about them. I thought they were sweet.

ripper
Hey what about the Oakland Crusaders they are the only line that has ever won high drums and not placed in finals the same year and I beleive that was also a Tom Float line
JBlade00
I really like '94, '96 and '99 BD Also, 2003 Phantom didn't get NEARLY enough credit, they were clean as anyone else, maybe even cleaner. But I AM a Bass Drummer by heart, and PR's Bass book was pretty sweet this year IMO.
LancerFi
I know back in the day when I marched....BD won drums 83,84, & 85Float knew what he was doing :) and 27 was 2nd in 1984 by 1/10...hard to believe, they went on 2nd at finals, the lights weren't even on yet, and they got I believe a 19.7....WOW b**bs
flammaster
27th Lancers have had some truly amazing drumlines. I think what it was about Tom Float that puts him above the rest is his aproach to people. In my whole life I have only met one other person that has the same effect on people as he does...and that connection is humor! My Very first Chef David Goodwin was just like Float to work for. If you made a mistake instead of yelling a you he would make a joke about it and you then never made that mistake again. I would walk home from work and just Laugh about some of the stuff he would say. The same holds true about Tom. when you make your "troops" feel good about themselfs they excel!
