You know you're "Old School" when revisited...

Recommended Posts

Well, as long as I'm "at it again", let me throw out a few special shout outs to my DCP "old school" homies:

You know you're old school when:

Rocketman: You can recall what Chris Arrowood hung off of his keyboard in 1978!

Blue Devil Legend: You can remember the name of Tom Cooper's dog!!

LancerFi: You can name all of "Stewie's Angels"

Eggbert: Four words--"Sounds of the Pentecost"!!!

Malibu: '79-- 6th place at DCI Midwest and 7th place at DCI East--need I say more?

mobrien: You still have your embroidered rose from Donald E. Stephens

Dan Guernsey: You can name all of the Beckmann brothers

byline: Your season started May 12th in '79 at the Spring Preview at Etobicoke Olympium (yikes!!)

Robert P1lot: You can remember Junior Drum Major Johnny Hillebrandt!!

dans24103: You can recall what Ray Baumgardt's pipe looked like!

Big Sev: You can remember the formula for Jody Chancey's "Red Stuff" ^0^

Mitch S: You remember when Sullair was going to sponsor the corps 'cuz they had a "green machine" also!!!!

that's all for now............................................................................

First off, I didn't march with Troopers. Read the signature. Coy was a yellow white who knows what. About the size of an Aussie shepherd. This was the most devoted dog. Tom was a BD drummer paralyzed from the waist down by a motorcycle accident (I believe). Coy went absolutely everywhere with Tom. Great dog. Tom was a nice guy too.
