And, you got ripped in 77. That was definately a top 12 show. 17th in marching killed you guys. I have to say, having Kingsmen in finals would have made it that much more special for me. Rocketman - 77 rules but ampssuck <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, I would have loved to play the Mambo from West Side Story off the line and the Artistry in Rythmn would have been a great concert. I joined in the Fall of 1976 and we played those tunes at standstills and parades...it was an experience with those rotor-valve baritones (we never marched with the two-valve Baritones when they made their debut in 1977). I would have loved to have made finals in 1977, but we got killed in marching as you say....but what a great year that was for drum corps....78 as well.
