MikeN
DCI this morning profiled On the Field, From Denver Colorado... the Blue Knights! This book, by G.M. Kuzma, chronicles the adventures (and mis-adventures!) of BK during the 1994 season. (Kuzma is now the director of Revolution, BTW.) You can read an excerpt / buy the book here! GMKuzma
Greetings everyone... Great stocking stuffer for the Drum Corps fan... Publishing this journal from 1994 was a good experience for me. It helped put things in perspective compared to how they were 10 years ago. I still find myself picking the book up and recalling an emotion or particular memory from it. Whenever I talk to someone about marching drum corps, I always recommend they keep a journal or take notes. It's great to go back and read something that took place years before and still recall the good times with the bad. Drum corps has made such an impact on my life--I wanted to share my experience. Here's a short review by Joe Smith on DCI.org: http://www.dci.org/news/news.cfm?news_id=6...68-9a924a2c5531 Please feel free to email me if you have any questions or comments about my book. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it!
