dckid80
I'll throw in my usual old school love: '80 Rockland, MA Defenders - Many, many nice moments in this show. '81 MB3 - Hard to believe that this corps did not place higher. What a lush sounding horn line.
Sideways
...does everyone else agree with Magic '98? I personally thought they had scored higher, but I thought what they achieved brass-wise was incredible. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Jared_mello
I've still yet to hear anything that leaves me thinking this is anyone other than Cavaliers 2002. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Although I might have to go check, I'm pretty sure they made finals that year. Jared_mello
Does anyone else agree about Freelancers '88? I really hope that others have heard this show....its one of my favorite shows of the decade.
Matt_S
Although I might have to go check, I'm pretty sure they made finals that year. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oops! George82
Wasn't '95 Academie Musicale, as well as other shows of theirs, supposed to be really good? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 1990 Academie Musicale.....pound for pound the best hornline in DCI that year. And Star?
bssop97
88 Dutch Boy... hello sopranos 90 Freelancers.... Stirctly for the opener 92 Glassmen ..... They had some serious power, I like that line better then the 93 line 95 Academie Musicale... That was a div III line and darn good too. 96 Les Etoiles ... Energy 97 Blue Stars... Ok we stunk at quarters but we had a 9.8 at II/III finals and won high brass... and I'm biased
flamdrag
Marauders had some very loud hornlines in both 86 and 92. Maybe not the cleanest, but definately fun to listen to.
jjeffeory
1990 Academie Musicale OMG, small and good. Lots of notes. 1990 Freelancers, AWSOME charts, and marching french horn (bugles)!!!! 1990 Blue Knights....
