Did you play mellophone with Auburn? In case you missed it I wrote a reminiscence of the 1974 Purple Lancers for Fanfare on DCI.org http://www.dci.org/news/news.cfm?news_id=9...9d-6a70d69dbf5a
audiodave
When I was a kid (late 60's early 70's) my family traveled to upsate New York from Boston to visit relatives in Oswego every summer. My NY relatives liked to go to Drum Corps shows. My first exposure to Drum corps was back then, and the only corps I remember is the Gauchos, so I picked them. Yaaay Gauchos.
