JerseyDigger29
I'd add, also 70's style, 1970 finalist:Boys of 76 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yea, Boys (Spirit) of 76. America's OLDEST drum corps (until they went inactive). I marched with them in the early 70's. Anyone remember our "screech," Jim Stapleman? Know what he's doing with himself now? Also the Chicago Connection and "Big Louie!" b**bs -- Thom B)
vaguardguy
If I recall the Lehigh Valley Knights were a Junior corps. They were started by the management of the Chieftains Sr Corps <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yep, the Chieftains Sr. D&BC last competed in 1999, and LVK was formed out of the Chieftains Nov. 2000. We did do a number of DCA shows as LVK (especially Reading, PA), averaging between 1-2 a summer. Those shows were always some of the most fun. What great audiences! JimF-LowBari
Top of my list:Rhode Island Matadors. One of the most entertaining corps in DCA history, IMO. Fran <{POST_SNAPBACK}> D'OH!!!! How could I forget them? But then Ritchie Price would have to decide between Mats and Empire.
Fran Haring
But then Ritchie Price would have to decide between Mats and Empire. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Don't forget Ritchee's other two DCA corps... Buccaneers and Sunrisers. Fran

kusankusho
Have to say Niagara Regionaires, because I marched there. As for Royalaires, the Alumni corps is re-forming and is practicing in Guelph every Wednesday starting tonight. The exec is looking at doing parades but also wants to get to a point where the corps can put a show on the field. I agree - more Canadian corps!!!
