kiltiekemo
How about Ohio Brass Factory? Except this time we could play a real drum corps show. Great talent, experience but needed a little help in show design. No slam on anyone but compared the East back then we could have used some "old time religion" with our shows. loujaue
How about Ohio Brass Factory? Except this time we could play a real drum corps show. Great talent, experience but needed a little help in show design. No slam on anyone but compared the East back then we could have used some "old time religion" with our shows. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I always enjoyed the Ohio Brass Factory. It was a great rivalry as well as I had some very cool friends (what ever happened to Rudy?) that made the experience all worthwile. Also the 9 to 5 was catchy! The only thing I ever questioned was the Electric Lime Green Blue Devil uniforms I also miss from way back then the Troy Defenders and Les Insolite (I am sure that is not spelled even close). JerseyDigger29
Jim spends a LOT of his time on the golf course. His famous chops are gone forever since he came down with bells paulsy (sp?) which has left him with no control over his left facial muscles. It hasn't affected his golf game though, and outside of that he's doing great! Ole Stapes could sure wail!!!!!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Good to hear about him. If you happen to see him, tell him Thom Fontannaz, the guy from the Great lakes Navy Band who played lead in the "Boys" with him in the early 70's says hi, and wishes him all the best. - Thom

Snare grip tenors, mellophones, etc. BTW they were also from (ostensibly) Albany also. Edited September 17, 2005 by Storkysr
