tplaya1
Except the drumline.I would say Cavies 00. Didn't their drumline win drums that year?
Dave_G
Didn't their drumline win drums that year? Cadets won drums in 02 as part of their three-peat percussion titles. I think he was refering to the Cvaliers drumline in 02 rather then the 2000 one.
Phantom&Phitch
Didn't their drumline win drums that year? not sure, but i think he was replying to Bistoms saying how cavies 02 were clean... then gcym saud 'except that (02) drumline'

absynthknight
Some of the cleanest shows: Blue Devils - 1997 & 2001 Cavaliers - 2002 Glassmen - 2001
Morgoth Bauglir
Yes that is what I mean. Someone said that Cavies 02 was the cleanest show ever, to which I agree. Except the drumline. BUt Cavies 2000 is just as clean visually and the drumlines was simply astounding. I am no expert on horns though. Blue Devils 2001 Are you serious? Again, the drumline in 01, particularly the snares were not having an on night on saturday. The opening lick is scary. Granted they always have stellar tenor lines, but the snares definately pooped the bed (1$ to Joe Shuker) on some parts that night.

PhantomR
Didn't their drumline win drums that year? Cavies percussion got 3rd in 2002. Behind BD and Cadets. ~>conner
FH4life
Cavaliers 2000 was a great show visually, and I guess the drumline was great too... (I'm not a percussionist)... but horns where pretty bad. not balanced, often at the edge, of course G bugles didn't help... thank god they changed in 2002... and that's the year I started enjoying cavies' hornline.
