bscontra
Plenty of style, but no substance for us fans. :) hmm.. I am a fan hmmm ..not really understanding your point seems like you are just negitive with any corps these days I guess it depends on what you like to each his own Edited February 2, 2006 by bscontra

bawker
hmm.. I am a fan hmmm ..not really understanding your point seems like you are just negitive with any corps these days Style = Flash presentation. Impressive, and different. "Substance" = repertoire, or lack thereof. I'm a dino, I want to know what the Blue Stars are playing. I still don't know. No negativity intended...furthermore, while I disagree with some of things going on in DCI, for the most part I try to keep my comments and threads I create constructive, although I've had some slip ups now and then...like most of us here. Thanks. :)

saxymello
Just for clarification the music playing is clips of the honrline playing the first two movements and then on the freedom to be free it is the horline playing the corps song

And I can't see it because Flash doesn't work on my workstation. :( If it wasn't for Homestar Runner, I'd work to see that Flash was banned. ^0^
PhantomR
to be fair, I think Blue Stars have given fans ALOT of stuff... they've posted videos from every camp (I think every... I know december and January,) and put together a nice presentation, with a decent description of what's going to be happening, and even a little of the music that's going to be played (played in the backround of the flash) ~>conner
shortn'stern
With the Blue Stars being one of my favorite corps, I'll just go out and, somewhat jokingly, say that if they have microphone using voice overs in their show, I'll hang it up. There are too many great corps that had otherwise fantastic programs ruined with voice overs! This is just my opionion folks! I'm neither right or wrong. Yes, the human voice was used back in the '80s and '90s...as an embellishment.
