Carl306
Like Jared, finally being a vet. Also, because it will mean that classes are over with and I'll have less stress to deal with. Lance
Lots of reasons, but the biggest right now: BD.
madalumni
Reason number 1 - because I read over on Corpsreps.com about specific pieces of music that Madison will be playing for their "Primal Forces" show. It says that their closer will be "Gabriel's Oboe" from "The Mission". All I can say is wow! That is one lush and dramatic piece of music and I can only imagine what they will do with it. I'm also anticipating what Myron Rosander will do with Madison's visual design... Hoping it will be spectacular. Reason number 2 - I will get to perform in front of a crowd for the first time in 16 years on semi-finals night!!! (with the Madison Alumni Corps) Reason number 3 - Blue Devils playing "God Father"
beachdude
Because: 1. The Crossmen are playing Pat Metheny 2. The Crossmen will throw down again and... 3. The Crossmen will be in the big dance on Saturday night again!
tarot13
The 2006 season is already looking like it could be even more competitive than the 2005 season. From the show clips that I have heard, the fight on finals night will be old school. Long have I waited for a season like this to come again... I just hope the visual designs can hold up with the music. Whatever happens, best of luck to EVERYONE marching this summer, no matter what corps it is!!! You are so lucky to be marching in what is sure to be a legendary season in DCI history. I can't wait til the Lisle show and Madison! Jared_mello
WOW Jared. That's pretty intense, there. You're going to scare the poor lil rooks. :( I mean, it's ok until the maniacal laugh at the end. Why I can't wait for drum corps season to start: So I can march some more. :P Yeah maybe the caps weren't necessary. It was a quasi-joke, heh. Point was...."look forward to tour." I probably should have phrased it like that. edit - So I can go to Canada for the first time since being in Ontario when I was 8 months old! :) Edited February 15, 2006 by Jared_mello
Jocko the Wonder Llama
Because this is the 30th anniversary year of my first season! And that my son will be marching with me.

jake_the_hydra
Because more than any year I can remember recently, it seems like it could be a pretty intense 4 horse race this year. Cavaliers, Cadets, Phantom, and Blue Devils ALL have something to prove in 2006, and Bluecoats and Madison are going to want some of the action. Not to mention Crown looking for improvement and SCV and Boston trying to reclaim past glories . . . It will be a good year. And it sounds like the top 6 of 05 for the most part are ALL going to be putting the kind of shows on the field that people want to see, that have real potential for both effect and innovation. It will be a good year . . .
Jessika
Heyyy I'm finally a vet too! Erm, kinda? Heh. I wasn't thrilled with show announcements last year, and this time around it's a completely different story.
