Wasn't there talk a while back about the possible formation of some sort of "all girl/all women" ALUMNI corps that was going to do some sort of one season only thing?

I kind of like just The Brigade.

How about the Brigands? Or the Brigandeers?

Or you could add something cool in front of Brigade, but still just go by Brigade. Kinda like Phantom Regiment sometimes just goes by Regiment.

There's an awful lot of good ideas going on here!

Am hoping a current Bandette is reading - and am also hoping that some of us pumpkinheads who have been posting ideas in the hopes of HELPING one of the FINEST all-female drum corps in drum corps history will provide feedback here on what they want and where they want to go!

And whether we're on the right track or are going way off-course!

Something inside me still feels horrible over the idea of a traditional all-female corps adding males - I saw what happened to my beloved Racine Kilties many years ago when they went co-ed and it wasn't long before they folded - I hope this doesn't happen to the Bandettes!

How about "The Bravehearts"?

Has a Scottish ring, and the "heart" part plays to both the feminine roots of the corps and the red color of the uniform. And "brave" certainly applies to your corps in the uphill fight against Div I dominance of the activity these days....

Mike in OH

I like it!

How about "The Bravehearts"?

I think of Bravehearts and I see that mass of manhood raising across the field to do battle with their kilts bouncing in the air !! :sshh: :sshh: :sshh: :sshh:

Not to mention the rearend salute that they do before hand!! b**bs b**bs b**bs b**bs b**bs

So far I like the Northern Highlanders. B)

How about the Brayden Cadets. Brayden is a Celtic/Gaelic name meaning brave.

My vote goes for this one, but maybe add "of Sault Sainte Marie" to the end, so people don't think Brayden is a city somewhere.

Whatever you decide on, best of luck to you!
