Studio Tan
Speaking of David Bowie's Low and minimalism, Philip Glass adapted it for his Low Symphony.
Matt_S
is this something that fits into phantoms "genre" No, I'd put it more like Star '93, or a darker SCV '03.
Lance
Speaking of David Bowie's Low and minimalism, Philip Glass adapted it for his Low Symphony. Yep. I was just listening to it today. All three movements would be excellent for a corps to do. :)

Studio Tan
Yep. I was just listening to it today. All three movements would be excellent for a corps to do. :) I was thinking "A New Career In A New Town," "Weeping Wall" (there's your pit feature!), "Be My Wife," and "Subterraneans" to close it out on a dark ominous note. Oh yeah, and maybe "Sound and Vision." I mean, what more is drum corps than sound and vision?
kansasDC
Bridgemen/VK style shows. Sooner or later, someone will have the cahoonas to do a show like those again.

Matt_S
Ah star 93i remember the first time i saw that i was kinda confused but heck its a great show IMO, we're overdue for another show purposely designed to aggravate the audience. By that I mean specifically through music selections, not what the Cadets are doing this year. :P
tubacurt
I totally agree "non-generic drum corps emotions" should be explored. Total Anger, Complete Meloncholia, Euphoira(which has been done a little). So many emotions to work with.
