"Corps at the Crest"

July 2, 1863

Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Corps Place Score

20th Maine Regiment 1 95.35

1st Minnesotians 2 90.00

Devil's Denizens 3 66.60

Alabama 15 4 55.55

This show saw the premiere of the famous right wheel forward drill move.

Several color guard members gave it up for this show.

All the units dealt with lousy field conditions.

Timing/Penalties: James Longstreet

High Brass (balls): 20th Maine (Joshua Chamberlain, directing)

High Percussion: four way tie (lots of percussive caps everywhere)
