davam
Emily Tannert's latest column on dci.org hits the nail on the head when it comes to audience etiquette at drum corps shows. Please read! http://www.dci.org/news/news.cfm?news_id=3...7a-86d55cfdde45
Studio Tan
You know, the answer your cell phone/get up and leave whenever is actually a problem elsewhere in the performing arts, like at musicals or plays. Can you believe that? Terrible. I hate that. Sorry, though: laughing at the C##### is okay this year.
WOOHOO
I would also say if you have children under the age of 5, just don't bring them. They can't be expected to behave, it's not their fault. Most drum corps show start pretty late anyways for young children and it's to be expected for them to get antsy, but that's still not an excuse to disrupt other people's enjoyment. Studio Tan
Yeah, my first show was at the tender age of 4. I wasn't ready for it yet. I do remember BLOOOing for the Bluecoats.
ReformedDCFan
I wish people would cheer more -- the shows I go to people act like they are at a symphony concert --- golf claps at the end of each number and at the end of the show. Meanwhile I'm cheering at good tosses, good lickes, ect and people are glaring at me. It's a drum corps show -- the more you cheer the more the performers are going to put out. Ben
i hate when people walk in during a performance, really ticks me off, and most volunteers are kids that don't know they should just stop them

Jeff Ream
when i see people being idiots at shows, i wait til between corps and tell em about it. and i do it in a way that makes them look like jerks in front of everyone. usually shuts em up
year1buick
i hate when people walk in during a performance, really ticks me off, and most volunteers are kids that don't know they should just stop them The volunteers at the Dallas show are pretty strict about this, and won't let anyone back into the stands while a corps is performing.
