PioSop06
We eat pretty well at Pio, when we had some of the parents of some of us Texas people on tour, we got some real good tacos. My personal favorites are meatball subs, taco days, and chicken parmesean(sp?).
bksrbsfl
Freelancers ate well too, in '82 Brom was our God -- we were 4 imports that lived in a $190/mo downtown Sac'to slum appartment, so we couldn't wait for corps trips so we could eat real food. I don't think I've actually eaten consistantly better or certainly not been in better shape since..
morganhill
... haha..... good one! Right, McKinley, a good one!
Wild Nights
I've always heard Phantom eats really good. They published a (the only?) drum corps cook book back in the 70's sometime.Reading the menu's on Josh's diary it sound like they have a lot of good stuff. Blueberrey pancakes Chocolate chip pancakes Breakfast pizza Breakfast burritos and lots more Don't forget the waffles, bacon, eggs and....(drumroll)... PB&J!!! Vanguard07
I think we can all agree, PB&J is a staple on ANY drum corps food truck.
badmatchespartdos
Is food allowed to be part of the competition show? Because that's all I need to ruin drum corps for me: a corps having a cooking show theme. Next thing you know, the activity will be turned into the Food Network, much like how the activity is now turning into American Idol. Beware! badmatchespartdos
Come on Cire...what do you think of my joke?
BarryMorgan
Come on Cire...what do you think of my joke? Susan Murphy with Crown is amazing in what she feeds the corps. The favorite is "Tater-Tot Casserole.
dciguy01
I can't speak for other corps, but I know Colts do a dynamite job of cooking. The only corps with a virtual cooktruck to boot :)
