I agree with you, it's not a real word. But if have learned anything arguing about the definitions of other real words (in the CE forum) it's that people don't really care too much about what's real and what's not. If something gets used enough, no matter how wrong it is, it becomes right(at least to them). Sometimes all you can do in the face of ignorance is throw your hands up and say "fine, you win" and let it slide.
