"On Air"...doesn't this title just scream impressionism? debussy anyone?

Nah. It'll be about the development of radio & television broadcasting. Perfect vehicle for amplification.

I'm surprised that the Cavaliers haven't announced their 2007 show yet... It's November 25th already. They are usually one of the first corps to announce their show. It had better be something awesome like machine was.

sadly, that's actually what first crossed my mind when i looked at it.

if its something "innovative" in the style of reinventing the wheel, i'll shoot myself

How about "On Air". Like looking at the Birds in the graphic, and thinking that their music might deal with birds? Since they fly....and are "On Air" for most of their lives. ???? Some good Messiaen and Respighi compositions about birds perhaps????? hmmmmmmmmmmmm

For some reason after reading this the first thought that came to my mind was the old Alfred Hitchcock movie "The Birds" Scary Movie when you first watch it when you're like 10. Ca-Caw!

That's exactly what I was thinking about...

ah, nice catch... didn't even think about that.

that'd be sweet to hear Phantom play some more music from Hitchcock movies.

Only one problem ... "The Birds" had no musical score.

(edit: I sincerely doubt they're planning anything that obvious, anyway. I'm expecting something a little more abstract.)
