corps_nerd
i completely agree with that!and yes.. i was just being super critical.. all in all it really is a great jazz running shot.. what i dont get is this.. the image at the top right, of someone doing a jazz run.. is completely... HORRIBLE.. i mean.. its not even a real person.. cant they at least DRAW a correct jazz run? if it wasnt for the very straight legs, that thing would be a great cavies "jazz run" picture! its kind of ironic, how the picture showcasing the cadets, has nothing to do with them playing or even marching.. something related to drum corps. it has someone jumping off a table and a drummer holding a stick.. im not too sure whats fearless about that.. but what WOULD be very impressive would be if a cadet hornline member (or bass drummer!) did a jazz run off the table and was caught by the guard.. id give a standing O for that.. hmm.. sounds like its time for a photoshop. lol amazing work... i would definately stand up for that one... PRBuick56
It's Daniel Benton during the 98 show. The Bass 5 doesn't seem to have good technique. He just seems to be running. Daniels pic is a textbook of technique. It is the photo is all wanted taken of us when we marched.Mike Bass.....sop.....bass drum.....sop....I think he is doing pretty friggin well
Morgoth Bauglir
Bass.....sop.....bass drum.....sop....I think he is doing pretty friggin well DING DING If everyone marched the show with an instrument that weighs less than a drill folder, there would be a lot more good technique out there. Krista
DING DING If everyone marched the show with an instrument that weighs less than a drill folder, there would be a lot more good technique out there. which isn't to say that those of us who carry instruments "that weigh less than a drill folder" weren't marching equally, sometimes harder b/c of the instrument, drill ourselves. But....the drummer gets mad props from me....that's amazing! :D I'm pretty sure I can't even LIFT that drum! b**bs

SDBassCreature
So is it the height of arrogance to post an action shot of yourself? Ah I don't care, but I do enjoy the expression on my face :P This is our last set of the show with our big hit! http://joleschorders.com/view_user_photo.a...5&SUB=29871
