kevingamin
$1.92 in LaGrange, Georgia. But, yup, it's right before elections. Don't look for it to last long. Speaking of which, I saw a news piece a while ago where there are a few groups where you can buy into their gas reserves for a certain price, and when prices go up you keep paying the original price per gallon...wish I could find a link for it....aaarrrggg. Anywho, this would be an ideal situation for corps! Already happening: Ten DCI corps form Summer Tour Fuel Partners, LLC to hedge against rising fuel prices
sburstall
VERY relevant. Guess when most corps camps start?Yep, AFTER elections. Then maybe camps should start earlier. <_<
mellodramatic
I bet it was Al Gore that helped bring down the gas prices. I mean he invented the Internet for Peter's sake.
kevingamin
Then maybe camps should start earlier. <_< Still doesn't change the fact that most camps, not to mention the entire season, occur after elections, which means that, should gas prices indeed go up once the first Tuesday after the first Monday has occured, it's going to be difficult for drum corps and their participants to budget for fuel up through championships.
