Matthew Posted September 27, 2006 Share Posted September 27, 2006 Well I'm glad that you were only sharing 3 captions but the rule reads as follows:6) A corps director who has more than one division 1 corps, may only share 5 caption selections between his corps. Example, a corps director selects SCV04 for GE Vis, GE Mus, Mus Brass, Mus Ens, and Vis Ens for Corps #1. Corps #2 may be only SCV04 it for four of these captions. All the other caption must be a different corps. Which in itself is confusing. I thought the rule as is stands is 4 shared captions. Either way I think that's too many. Unfortunately there isn't a compromise option in the proposals. Let the executives make the compromise. They are good about putting those in, or adding them after something has passed. Leave out the actual poll, and write all the proposals in a list form, then have each director reply in one post: Name of organization: The Kadets Division: Open Class Location: Las Vegas, NV Director: Jorge Flopkins Proposal 1. No Proposal 2. Abstain Proposal 3. No Proposal 4. Yes And so on. It might make the actually tallying of the votes process take longer, but you would know who is voting (if they are actually a director or not), and the numbers would be right on the money.
