MikeN
No, I totally vote for The Kavaliers. That would be awesome, and I'm sure would cause no confusion at all. :) Mike
MiamiSun76
Maybe we should have a naming contest...Sol de Miami? Miami Drum Machine? South Beach Stars? Well, Miami Vanguards would work nicely. Already got the right colors and maybe Moore Park is still around (wonder what happened to Vanguard Hall?) mellos
Good for KK. And I am a fan of the website! Good luck!
MiamiSun76
Can you really be "Kiwanis" in *Miami*? :P We had a Kiawnis club in my (Miami Carol City) high school. Of course they served dino-burgers in the cafeteria, too.

artmastertilt
I'm glad the corps is finally going to be officially from Florida...If only so ODBC can relax his weary hands from typing that the corps isn't from Kitchener at every opportunity.... heh..... It's unfortunate that Canada can't support a Division 1 drum corps anymore....I'm glad that we at least have a few Div 2/3 corps around like St. John's and Dutch Boy to still give our kids up here a sense of the drum corps experience...I know that we plan on reserving a section of the new kiwanis alumni site to promoting the few corps that are still up here., as well as promoting the new Kavaliers corps down in Florida... I look forward to seeing what direction this new staff and management take the corps and I'm happy that they've chosen to keep the corps alive...Regardless of where the say they're from...Or what they call themselves.... KeithHall
Why it won't work? Florida Wave, Florida Vanguard, etc. I hope Teal Sound stays the course and doesn't get dragged into this mess.
