shionolee
How many inactive corps that returned to compete are still around today?
rrheinlen
Bluecoats - Inactive in 1979, back in 1980, and look where they are today!!!!!
thederek
Spirit was inactive in 1994. And continued to almost fold for the rest of the 90s
Byron
Troopers - off for 06, back in 07 Obviously Magic...here's hoping they can make a comeback like they did in 02 and 03 (and maintain it!) Though WGI is obviously different (costs a lot lower, etc), going inactive for a season is not unheard of. Pride of Cincinnatti was inactive in 2000, came back and won the gold in 01. San Jose Raiders were inactive this past season, but are apparently coming back for 2007.
JimF-LowBari
Couple from the Senior/All age side Sunrisers - late 1990s for a year or so Crusaders (Rochester) - early 2000s for a year Brigadiers - out totally from mid 1970s to early 1990s Westshoremen - went inactive and back once a decade since the 1970s. Sadly haven't made it back since the last disbanding. (Had to throw it in since I was at two of the rebirths.) bluecoats88
Bluecoats - Inactive in 1979, back in 1980, and look where they are today!!!!! You forgot that we also were inactive in 1983 and reformed in 1984. We are still the only corps to go inactive on two seperate occasions and then make DCI Finals. crashhelmi36
Wasn't Phantom inactive for a bit in the 70s? Maybe they just didn't make finals, but I do remember hearing of some down time for them. Certainly didn't hurt them.
