What if that's what someone wants? Seriously though, I don't think what you said is true. I've moderated message boards on this server before and deleting accounts never erases any past posts. Rather, it just says that the post was made by a "guest" which I see no harm in. I wonder if this might be a rule worth looking into making a change to.
