kusankusho
Come to a camp and find out! :P Actually, since I'm not on the design team, I don't know the answer to that question. I'd love to come to a camp but I might get in trouble with the two corps I'm involved with already. :) EDIT - not to mention my wife.... It would be harder to pronounce - bl-bl-bl-bl-blue era....... :P Whatever you do with it - sounds like another great Bucs show. 84BDsop
Following the big hit from the loudest hornline in DCA, we will move into "Bacchanalia", not the Phantom piece. The Phantom piece is actually the Bacchanale (from Sampson and Delihla), a classical piece....Bacchanalia was Blue Devils' 1984 opener, a jazz piece...and GOD was it a fun piece to play! The next selection will be "La Fiesta". If you don't know this piece, get ready for a new favorite song. As La Fiesta has been played in the past -- closing out the concert era in BD -- again in 1984 -- the piece is pretty well known...Renegades' mini corps played it in 05 (but FORGOT to play the last three notes!) Hmmm...you guys are playing about half of my Jr corps book! Can;t wait to hear the show....if you guys put out like you did last year it's gonna be another awesome show! The last thing we would want is for a voyage on the high seas to cause domestic strife! Yeah, it would be hard to pronounce, but might be fun to try! We're VERY excited about the show, and even more excited by the way those assembled for Membership Day got excited by the announcement. Should be another great show!
