Well let's see now if I had 150 spots in my corps to fill I would go with the following :

24 Sopranos (not trumpets)

12 Mellophones

20 Baritones

10 Euphs

14 Contras (not tubas)

80 G Bugles

10 Snares (70's style)

5 Tenors

6 Bass (70's style)

5 Cymbals

12 Pit

38 Drums

30 Guard

2 Drum Majors

If you're gonna be big kids, you gotta be loud, that's why the old style instruments.

GOOD OLD FASHIONED, KICK ### DRUM & BUGLE CORPS !!!!!!!!! :worthy: b**bs :worthy: b**bs :worthy: b**bs

I think DCI should have required all corps to field a cymbal line with the extra people.

Mine:

Horns:

16 Contras

But where are you going to find all those Contras? They are hard to find and a little expensive now aren't they? You might have to settle for tubas. ^0^

Not to turn this into another debate, but would you rather have 50 kids who really wanted to be in your corps or 65 where 15 would rather be somewhere else?

If I was a corps with 25 kids that was in danger of being denied access to competition because of the size limit rule (a dumb rule IMHO) I might be happy to get any kids I could lay my hands on.

This is really OT though, my fault.......
