kusankusho
OK - to play along in the spirit of the thing, I'd add a couple of snares, make sure there was a cymbal line of 4 and throw the rest into bottom brass.

CrusaderContra
All 15 in the horn line. I really agree with that, Imagine the sound put out!
prodigal bari
My thoughts are to take advantage of amped pit and reduce numbers there; and add them to the brass line. I would not have the battery any larger (except for the return of a cymbal line...) due to the ability of the standard line to balance with a larger brass line. (If I did not have a cymbal line I would put two more into the pit and two more into the brass line; which is what I will show here) 24 trumpets 20 horns (possibly mixed 10 mello/8 french horns; I miss the variety of blends) 26 bari/euphoniums (probably 16/10) 20 contras (just cannot bring myself to say tuba) 86 brass (with a bottom bias...that's where your power is ) 8 snares 5 quints 5 basses 10 pit 32 guard 2 fc's
ContrasAreFun
40 trumpets29 mellos 40 baris/euphs 29 contras 138 brass 10 snares 5 tenors 5 basses 20 percussion 2 drum majors I believe that makes 160, To compensate, I say subtract 10 trumpets and switch the amount of bari and contras ^0^
thePerfectbuzz
the extra 15 can be waterboys...they can run around during the show with waterbottles and spray bottles refreshing the corps giving 11:30 of pure intensity and no fatigue
dbc03
I believe that makes 160,To compensate, I say subtract 10 trumpets and switch the amount of bari and contras ^0^ Oops, you are correct. I will fix it
Jimisback
Contras and snares. If there are over 14 contras then we add Sops. Edited January 30, 2007 by Jimisback
