IllianaLancerContra
Folks- Does anyone know whether official minutes from the various DCI BOD, rules meetings, or similar are available? I am not an attorney (but I play one on television), but as I understand it, if it (DCI) is incorporated as a non-profit in the US, then these documents should be available to the public to ensure that they are operating within the law. I understand there could be a time lag because minutes from previous meetings must be approbed at sunsequient meetings. Also, are their ledger books available? I assume (yes I know the definition) that they should Any attornies or CPAs know? IIRC a few years ago when Madison was going through internal termoil they had to let anyone into their BOD meetings. MikeN
As I always understood it (at least at the government level where I worked), it was not that minutes had to be posted publicly, but they had to be made available upon request, and could be subject to a duplication fee.
