raphael18
Are we allowed to tell the kid what SUTA stands for? Don't remember if that's public information. That would probably be heavily frowned upon, lol. Honestly, I think the DCI Champion trophy is pretty significant - it may not be all about winning, but everyone recognizes and respects it. FieldofBlueDreams
BOB BARKER (Maybe not the most sacred, but definitely an interesting phenomenon :P ) Honorable mention: Playing "the game" i agree... a lot of these are nice... but not "drum corps entities" for everyone. the scv star is cool, the corps songs are cool.... my picks: Mr. Crocker's voice and "the game". everybody who marches knows the game and his voice... no matter what corps you're with :)
Iplaytimpani
I disagree about the game only because I know we played it in high school as well. Maybe it was because we had drum corps kids in my high school though. But corps songs and signature moves and Brandt Crocker are really special drum corps things. Rocketman
Well, depending on your POV, it could be anything. Personally, traditions that have, for whatever reason, gone by the way side, The U.S. Open trophy for one, has to be the best looking trophy ever put together for this activity. While the DCI trophy may mean more, U.S. Open took it by a mile. Too bad we don't see it any longer thanks to DCI!
