Jofus
Last year on the Scouts drumline last year a lot of us cringed everytime we heard the "M" word. Oddly enough the brass line used it all the time, but you didn't say it in the drumline. I also agree, Never Walk is amazing.
CrossmenAlumni
and don't say the M-word. Silliest and most overblown myth in drum corps history. It doesn't even belong in this thread with all these other things that actually have value.
Walter
To me, just being able to say that I marched in the greatest youth musical activities in the world !!! b**bs For that I am truly grateful. B)
Phantom&Phitch
i think something that is sacred to the drum corps activity, not just a particular corps would be names, like, zingali, ott, etc... tubacurt
I have yet to march corps, so what is the m-word?
MGCpimpOtimp
....One tradition that I always remember from SCV was that you didn't spit on the field. It may seem corny but seriously... the field was kinda sacred to us. And it didn't matter how crappy the field condition was from weeks of running the show. If you needed to spit, you walked off the field to do so...... We had very similar rules at Americanos - you didn't spit on the field... I thought that was common courtesy every where for the guard, they have to role around on that field, and I'm sure they don't want to roll around in your spit! All three corps I have marched had this rule in place.

madscout96
Mojo is the M word? What's wrong with Mojo? Or is the M word something else? I liked the tradition of the picture of corn on the DCM championship patches (back when DCM existed).
