Their '07 brass arranger split arranging duties with Scott Boerma in '88, I believe. And Jon Schipper's on brass staff. He was their big sop soloist in '95 and '96, and I think it could be argued that 95 contended for a title.

But yeah, your argument makes sense. Not disputing that.

Jon Schipper's on brass staff??!! Now i really can't wait to see the Scouts this year! I hope he's there next year.

I predict I will gain another 15lbs of pure solid muscle by August 1st.

I also predict I will get a bug in my windshield during the drive to finals from San Diego.

I also predict the people who are putting the Cadets anywhere below top 5 will have to work during finals and won't have the opportunity to watch it.

I love Drum Corps, but dislike ignorance.

Cadets not being in the top six isn't unrealistic. Just because somebody has a different opinion then yours makes them ignorant?

Just a hunch or two. (And no, I don't hate the Cadets or Blue Devils, I just see things being very competitive this year and as always, a few corps are going to pleasantly surprise a few people.)

I see big seasons for Crown, Colts, Crossmen, and my adopted hometown's corps, Spirit. I went to their ensemble rehearsal tonight and was suprised to find how impressed I was. I'm usually closer to indifferent about Spirit but still support them because of my friends from school and my general loyalty to the alma mater, but I must say I'm really excited for them this summer. I can easily say that this is the best designed show they've had since they've moved to Alabama, better than '02 or '03. The visual package they've lacked the past couple years is there to match the powerful brass (more so than last year, I dare say) and stellar percussion sections. I was wowed a few times with the drill (and the guard, even! and I'm strictly a hornline watcher) and that's something that has failed to happen the past couple years, and is something I feel has kept them from advancing from 12th, because it certainly hasn't been the hornline. (Again, wow!)

I'm really excited to see all the shows this summer! B)

4. Phantom--its just not meant to be

5. Blue Devils--always a top 5 corps

7. SCV- could beat out Crown

8. Blue Knights--stuck in a great spot, the top ten

9. Troopers-- everyone will be shocked by this corps this year

10. Boston-solid top ten corps

11. Crossmen--San Antonio has been very very good to you

12. Blue Stars--Quality organization keeps getting better-new uniforms about time

13.Colts--consisteantly great corps but comp. is just fierce this year

14. Academy-welcome to Semi's, yes you guys are for real

15. Spirit--added competition hurts this corps this year

16. Scouts--something is just a-miss up in Madison

17. Glassmen--your competition is getting stronger

18. Mandarins-if show was in China you would be top 5 corps

19. Southwind--I hope I'm wrong and you make semi's,love this corps

20. Crest--not enough info may place higher

21. Cascades--no enough info may place higher

22. Pioneer. I love this corps-standing ovations from me at every show.

Capital Regiment, Magic, Esperanza, Canada wish you all were here. Sadly missed
