Ex VK DM
Well the VK Org. posted its first divisional sweep of the season ((talking to my self) let's hope it's not the last). All 3 corps are having early season success for the 1st time in their history. The staffs and the members are working together to fellow develop the shows into the ultimate in visual entertainment. That is all. Back to your regularly scheduled bickering in the other threads. :P Side Note: That was only the 4th time in VK Too's history that we have prevailed over SOH in head to head competition. Only the vets and member of the A corps that were in Too can really appreciate the value in that. Edited June 21, 2007 by Ex VK DM
hxcsoprano
The Nightshade corps spent most of their practice time on their day off working on the visual aspect of the show. Unfortunately in doing so, the musical part of the show suffered a bit. The percussion and guard are coming along nicely, but could still use a little tweaking. Despite what still needs to be worked on, we were pleased with the results of the Kingston, NY show. The kids were so excited when they heard that they recieved first. With our first win under our belts, our confidence has been boosted significantly.
3rd_Star_Brigade
Ok guys, we overestimated our score a little bit, but our Division III corps which used the opposite effect that we did, had improved areas, so we are changing our show, but we do not expect it to be ready by tonight. We expect the same results tonigh, but tommorow is a different story altogether. Now, we should be scoring in the 75-77 range, after tonight. On another note, Imagine!, which used the technique, is now in the stratosphere of Division III with a 72.545. Imagine! - Div. III - 72.545 Imperial Sound "B" - Div. II - 71.635 Imperial Sound - Div. I - 73.
StarOrg
I think the Caption Selection page is down. When I try and make selections the page is BLANK?
sburstall
Sa-weet. All the work we did with the music really paid off. We went from a 70.75 in Kingston, just sucking in the whole music caption, to improving in both brass and percussion. Sadly our ensemble took a hit. We still have to many musical tears in the show. 6/20 - Oakland Skylarks 14.63 14.89 12.41 16.00 14.84 13.63 13.10 12.47 70.750 (Kingston, NY)6/21 - Oakland Skylarks 15.50 15.00 13.10 16.00 15.90 14.10 12.19 15.09 73.690 (Rome, NY)
3rd_Star_Brigade
2007-06-21 Imperial Sound 1 15.50 14.41 13.45 16.00 16.03 14.06 15.80 15.60 75.38 2007-06-21 Imperial Sound B 2 15.50 15.42 13.45 14.00 16.03 14.06 15.49 13.30 74.09 2007-06-21 Imagine! 3 14.00 15.42 12.20 14.03 16.03 12.77 12.83 13.30 70.01 So that's 2nd-3rd-1st in all three, and this is without the new captions, after I overslept yesterday. Unfortunately, I can't see how they will do tonight, but I look forward to beating all of you at a later point in time, which would be in a day. ^0^

The standing are wrong. I didn't want to say anything, but yeah congrats on a great start. But its a marathon, not a sprint.

It really doesn't matter, because like I said, I'll be beating you all in no time, and staying at the top too. :P I really hate that I got up late yesterday and couldn't send in my captions. I have participated in this before, so I realize that the top is always changing. Edited June 22, 2007 by 3rd_Star_Brigade
