dccorpsfan
Lately, I've noticed there's been a lot of complaining on the board (and I've certainly done my share) about this and that, whether it be show design or narration or music. I know when it comes to the things I love, I have a tendency to whine a lot (especially when it comes to football. Hey, I'm a Washington Redskins fan. I don't have too much to be happy about); but when I find myself whining to excess, I have to stop and ask myself this question: what made me love this in the first place? So, that's the question I have for you. Why do you love drum corps?
Carl306
Get away from real life for 3 months No worries/responsibilities outside of corps for 3 months Only in this can you have one task to accomplish everyday for 3 months Surrounded by MOSTLY cool, fun, and enjoyable company all the time If you get bored, there is something wrong with you And, I can work on my tan :) Edited June 23, 2007 by Carl306

ravedodger
I love the intensity in the shows and the competition. It looks like this year is going to be great.

Latrobe's Finest
I love that most people (the public) don't know about our activity, so when you find someone who does, its very special. That, and being pseudo rock stars for 3 months, traveling all about and working your butt off...and LOVING it!!

Lancerlady
No matter how much I may disagree with certain aspects of how the activity is changing, for me, I'm doomed, cause I'm addicted to it. I can't get away no matter how hard I try. I just ignore the things I don't like and enjoy the things I do enjoy.
