What I need is this picture photoshopped so instead of US soldiers, one is dressed like a Cavalier one is dressed like a Blue Devil ect. If it's possible, let me know. To "use" the memory, photo, statue, etc. of the US Marines who fought at Iwo Jima is crass. While I truly love the drum corps activity, it doesn't hold a candle to the courage and sacrifices endured on that island, in Feb. of 1945. Please re-think your project. The original probably is, but I doubt you could "logo" a picture and still have it be PD. The Iwo Jima pose by The Cadets, well-intentioned as it was, did seem out of place when they did it. Then I remembered the bloodshed on Iwo Jima and the other Pacific islands and cringed. If I remember right half the men who raised the flag didn't make it off the island alive.
