OK. Everybody calm down.

Pepe Played "Sunny Side" at Symphony Hall '64. It's immortalized on the same recording on which Swan plays "Desifinado" (and isn't that Wes Meyers on the Bossa Nova snare?). Ta-ta-ka-Tommy Martin does "The Fox Hunters" and "You Made Me Love You".

Meanwhile, the current subject was feeling his oats in the French Horn section of the Bpt. PAL Cadets, lusting like the rest of us after the Thunderbird Color Guard babes (and no Cialis needed, thank you very much).

His last name is similar-sounding to that of a fairly recent NYC mayor, who (to the best of my knowledge) didn't play the French Horn.

If it was 1964, then it was John Bailey on the make-shift drum set accompanying Swan ... Wes was with Ballentine that year (he did take over that chore though in 66 when he joined Sky) ...

I thought Evening With the Corps was still at Carnegie Hall in 64. Wasn't Newark's Symphony Hall later 60's?

And this former mayor of NYC was not the main character in the Notre Dame football film Rudy.

Please... do not ever mention anything to do with Notre Dame's football team on this thread. Some of us have not eaten breakfast yet.

Correct ... EWTC stayed in Carnegie through 65 ... then moved to Symphony Hall in 66 ... stayed there until the infamous fire-bombing of the Hurcs in 69 (BTW - the guy in the pic caught a baseball bat in the head during the battle with the locals and wound up in the hospital that night) ... okay ... EWTC then moved to the Felt Forum at MSG in 70 and 71 ... then to the Westchester County Center 72-74 ... I'm pretty sure 74 was its final year ... after that, Ray Samora signed the rights to the name, EWTC, to the Skyliners and they used it at shows they hosted ...

So ... name the guy in the pic or give more clues ... I'm all out of them ...

>>One of the most dedicated and nice guys that came out of the Bridgeport PAL to the Hurricanes Arnie Juliano<<

Got that right Bill ... definitely a nice guy - and also one that you would want in the foxhole with you in a war ... speaking of FL drum corps (how's that for a segue?) ... when are the FL Brass going to hold an I&E down there? ... I've got some SW flights I need to use by next April and would love to MC a show in the Sunshine State ... see what you can do ... doesn't have to be part of BHOF ... just an old slam-bam I&E show at one of the AL or VFW Posts ... Maybe the Harvey Seeds can have a reunion!

:-)
