This link explains the 21 databases that comprise NCIC. The Interstate Identification Index, which contains automated criminal history record information, is accessible through the same network as NCIC. https://www.fbi.gov/services/cjis/ncic One important thing to note: The entry, modification, and removal of records are the responsibility of the agency that entered them. In other words, NCIC is only as good as the data provided by law enforcement agencies nationwide. Some law enforcement agencies do not have NCIC certification, or have lost it due to misuse or abuse. Other states do not send all of their criminal data for various reasons.

  5. What I learned from a day with Pioneer

Thank you for sharing your observation and experiences! Words cannot describe how appreciative we are for the kind words!
  6. 2017 World Championships Prelims - Aug 10

Hopefully everyone enjoyed Pioneer's 2017 production! Just a quick reminder that we're still trying to raise funds to help the corps recover from an incident last month that totaled the RV used by our staff and administration. As of today, we're only 10% to our goal of $30,000. Any amount that you can contribute would be greatly appreciated. 7. Pioneers need our help

DCI gave the campaign a little push today via social media, which has helped push us closer to the $3,000 mark. The combined total (Chuffed + donations made via PIO website) stands at $2,868. We also have a few people that have committed to sending in checks to the corps office. Those are not included in the total at this point until the corps has a chance to receive & process them. If you would like to help, here are the links: https://www.chuffed.org/project/pioneer-staff-camper-vehicle -OR- Click Here to Donate Via PayPal
  8. Pioneers need our help

Not much activity in the past couple days. The total at the moment stands at $2,655.
  9. Pioneers need our help

The total raised has now reached $2,445.
  10. Pioneers need our help

The total as of this evening is up to $2,145. Thank you to everyone that has contributed so far!
  11. Pioneers need our help

We have added a combined total to our home page that shows the overall donations received (manually updated several times throughout the day). As of this evening, the total stands at $1,970. The corps could really use additional support...
  12. A Second Call

Thank you Stu for the second call! There are two ways that you can contribute: https://www.chuffed.org/project/pioneer-staff-camper-vehicle -OR- https://pioneer-corps.org/contribute/make-a-donation.html I will continue to provide updates on the progress as often as I can.
  13. Pioneers need our help

This is a fair question. While the vehicle was properly insured, insurance will only provide us with a fair market value for the RV. That amount likely will not cover the cost of a replacement RV. In addition, the cost of the 5 cranes & manpower required to recover the RV may not be fully covered by insurance (the costs may exceed what the insurance company deems to be a "reasonable cost").
  14. Pioneers need our help

Thank you to everyone that has contributed so far. In addition to the $995 raised through Chuffed, we have also received $400 in contributions via our website. As previously mentioned in this thread, you can also contribute direct to the corps using this link: https://pioneer-corps.org/contribute/make-a-donation.html

  19. Is there a Corps Member Open Spot thread?

Pioneer still has spots available in most sections. We have a camp next weekend, March 11 to 13 in the Milwaukee area. Get more info: www.pioneer-corps.org/2016
  20. Countdown to 2015 Audition Weekend

Just to clarify Pioneer's camp/audition schedule... Our first audition/rehearsal camp is January 9th-11th, 2015 in the Milwaukee area. The corps will not be having any full weekend camps prior to that date. Auditions will continue into our February Camp and possibly March depending on the needs of each section. There is a possibility that we will be holding satellite audition events in other regions. Details for those events are still being worked out. Stay tuned to our website & social media for future announcements regarding these events.
  21. WWI and WWII shows

Pioneer's 1993 show was based on World War I: "1917" Over There Tramp, Tramp, Tramp My Bonny Boy Far and Away
  22. Pioneer came out there in 2001. It was a great time!
  23. Pioneer Deserved Better

I'll kick back with these statistics as well. We flip the website over to start recruiting for the upcoming season right around the 4th of July each season. Been doing it that way for over a decade. I keep pretty good stats/analytics on everything digital that we do for benchmarking purposes. Through tonight, we have seen a 315% increase in "interest forms" being completed for the upcoming season when compared to this same date last year. In addition, we have seen double digit percentage increases in visitors, pageviews and other measurable stats on our website over the past two months. You can color these stats a bunch of different ways, but they irrefutably represent a significant increase in interest in the corps over the course of this summer. Summary: the JOY that we brought to the field in 2014 left a significantly better impression with many people than what's being portrayed in this thread.
  24. DCI on Google Maps?

  25. Playing Well in Plainwell - June 21

Lowest since 2002. That season Pioneer scored a 43.450 at the All Star Review in Toledo. Focusing on the positives, the 2002 corps improved almost 30 points over the course of the season. Hopefully history repeats itself again in that sense. Random fun fact. In 1994 the corps started off with the season with a 47.5 (same score as our first show last night). The 1994 corps went on to win the Division 2 championship and placed 18th at Quarterfinals/Prelims.
