Spirit of Atlanta is excited to announce that the Board of Directors has hired JW Koester as the Corps Director of Spirit of Atlanta. JW is no rookie, nor stranger to the Drum Corps Activity. Mr. Koester has previously worked with The Glassmen, Phantom Regiment (2008 DCI world champions) and Santa Clara Vanguard (1999 DCI world champions) in sr. management positions. Mr. Koester was also the Drum Corps International Division II & II coordinator from 2002 - 2007. "I am extremely excited to a part of the Spirit of Atlanta organization. I am looking forward to working with the corps members, staff and board to make 2014 the start of a very memorable adventure"

SCV the whole show, had me on the edge of my seat and tears in my eyes by the time they came to the company front to the end of the show not to mention the chills the rest of the time!!!!!

Oh don't get me started. We purchased the "Super Premium" package the first day they were on sale last year in the market place at DCI. Yes!!! in the stadium at Bloomington. Now just let me add that I hate to complain about most things, But we are between the 5 and 10 yard line with a piece of glass with a hand rail right in front of us. Needless to say we WILL NOT be ordering in advance this year and we WILL NOT get this package again. DCI will have a HUGE problem trying to pre sale at this rate, at least for the folks in our section. I do hope that the powers that be get the message on this one. Worst seats I've ever had at finals!

We just received our tics......DCI you rock....I know that some are upset/mad about Lucas....but with everything that has changed with the location and all I think they have done a great job in making us happy....we are very happy with our seating......let the season began.....WOOHOO

Just received the email from DCI today!!!!!!

I don't think I implied that at all ........I just thought that maybe I was misunderstanding the purchase process this year.....and wanted to make sure of the process before spending that kind of money.......I will be at 08' and having a great time......just double checking.

I saw on the DCI site this morning that we mail our oder in....I thought that this would be done though ticketmater......I was all set to order this morning.....not sure now....I find it hard to order tixs @ $300 x2 and not know seating.....do I have a misunderstanding of this process?

fist I will say that I haven't taken the time to read this whole thread...( most of it though).....I'm not sure what the upset is....its not like the price went up that much and not at all with everything your getting this year....Im glad they have added the Open class to the package this year....I do find it hard to beleive that everyone was so surprized with a new Stadium and all........ we are looking forward to going.
