Some of us track sprinters use a baking rolling pin to do our quads, calfs, and hammies. Have a piece of towel attached (glue, velcro, etc.) around it to cushion the pins wood or plastic surface. Cheaper than a foam roller or those beaded rollers that cost $25 or more. Maybe each corps should invest in a foam roller.

Whether or not the tinnitus condition I currently have was caused by marching is open for debate, but I can just about guarantee that most mm and staff of todays corps will have it some day if they're not using ear plugs. With about 113 members playing an instruement, usually at the same time, that's a lot of loud music for ones ears. I'll wager that with no protection, it's just a matter of a few decades before DM's start having the buzz.

I like what Boston has done over the years and this years pre-show was one of the best and mostly played "backfield".

I believe your wait until November thought TK is correct. Can't recall if they competed in all three in 2011.

Boston competed against BD only twice while in the West this year. If BD has another 24 or so shows this year, CC might also meet up with them only a couple of times in Cali.

The corps has already stated they will begin camp in their home region and head West early and stop along the way to continue their camp. A way to break up the 2,500 mile trip.
