  1. The fact still remains: he killed two people. That was his only role in the movie, to be the guy who really killed two people. So what does this say about you, Elmo? Hmmm?
  2. Why would you want your identity to be the same as the ####ed up murderer in Shawshank Redemption?
  3. Alright, I'm just going to throw the idea out there now. The Cadets achieved a stronger reaction because of many possible reasons: better design, better execution, etc. This proves that an audience will still react stronger to a better product even if it is not in the general definition of dci that the audience may have. Now, if The Cadets were to put on a show in 2007 that was not exactly drum corps, but created a strong audience compared to other top Div. 1 corps because of the design and execution. Would this be a bad thing?
  4. No, it doesn't have to be Finals. At any show throughout the year in which The Cadets competed (at the same show, not directly) with these types of corps.
  5. Why was the crowd reaction stronger for The Cadets than for corps like The Racine Scouts, or Revolution, or Colt Cadets?
  6. Maybe the more begging in even more threads will finally get someone to do it.
  7. Please stop speaking for everyone. If it did not entertain you, then say that. You were not the entire audience. Thanks for your definition of innovation. It was very helpful. #### those Cadets!
  8. The shows were both cool in their own ways. 2003 paid homage to other drum corps and its tradition. 2006 pushed things. Ultimately, 2006 will do more for the activity and it did more for me.
  9. yeah. let's be dumb and not explore the meaning of life. i hate art anyway.
  10. What about country, bluegrass, or western? Yeeeehaw!
  11. any corps should explore rap. 50 cent. eminem. snoop. you can't go wrong.
