Alright, I'm just going to throw the idea out there now. The Cadets achieved a stronger reaction because of many possible reasons: better design, better execution, etc. This proves that an audience will still react stronger to a better product even if it is not in the general definition of dci that the audience may have.
Now, if The Cadets were to put on a show in 2007 that was not exactly drum corps, but created a strong audience compared to other top Div. 1 corps because of the design and execution. Would this be a bad thing?
